From 8am EST to 5pm EST (with half an hour for lunch and an invaluable lesson in the most rudimentary Mandarin), none of us here could see anything first-hand: with regards to the longest lunar eclipse this century, every one of us will whatever is the opposite of lying like an eye witness about the whole thing.
